a long way when it comes to arranging a successful golfing event.
PEOPLE
- As you consider the day for the big event, call us for availability.
- Did you want to set aside a time for work conference / meeting or
post-golf dining? We certainly have the facilities for your functions.
- Have a good ‘guesstimate’ as to the number of players.
We have a number of playing options for you and can give you the ‘keys
to the course’ if need be.
- Keep track on those who need to Hire Clubs. We have pull buggies that
are available.
- And we are always updating our drive-on buggy fleet so you can ride
and play in style.
- Your clients are important. Make sure they get an invitation and follow-up!
- And remember to thank the ones that attended.

GOLF
- Are you going to take advantage of our pre-game clinic with our club
professional?
- Plan on having a great warm up over at the driving range. Plenty of
room too, as we have 44 bays.
- Did you have a specific golfing format in mind?
The ‘shotgun’ format will allow everybody to start and end
together.
A one or two ‘tee’ format would allow for late arrivals
[and it produces good galleries to watch the event unfold!].
- In addition to the golfing format, there are choices when it comes
to what type of play. Usually, ambrose or stableford. Ambrose is a ’best-ball’
type game where the foursome plays as a team. Stableford uses a standard
handicapped-based scoring method and puts all players in control of
their own destiny.
- And finally, did you want to have prizes or giveaways? [nearest the
pin, longest drive, etc] If so, we have a number of options in that
area.
We hope these ideas will help you to help yourself to a successful event.
Of course, if you have any questions, we are more than happy to answer
them. |
